This is another brand new strip. When I starting putting together the 2004 collection, I realized I needed a transition between Christmas in Michigan and New Years in Savannah. I also wanted to begin the new book with a strip that would help ease a reader back into this location. And this happened really every time I returned to the south— though this time felt good to memorialize, since it was my final trip back to Georgia.
