This comic doesn’t have a punchline, but it’s a cool piece of news. Three weeks later, I would start submitting one of my strips each week to appear in The Chronicle, and they would be published in the paper the same day as on my website. This required some extra effort, because I had to make sure that the strips I sent them were stand-alone and didn’t require any prior knowledge of what came before. But it was a great opportunity and a wonderful showcase for the strip, and I garnered a lot of new readership from it.
