When I first began drawing Dumbstruck, I didn’t have a lot of time to work on it— mostly an hour or two per strip each evening in a small sketchbook. Therefore, a lot the strips in my first year look a little rushed. I’ve been trying to recapture that same look in these new prologue strips, eleven years later. I’m often torn between making the art prettier and keeping it in sync with the early stuff, so I’m trying to split the difference.
